SPECIAL EVENTS

STAFF

At iCater.menu we understand the importance of flawless execution of your event and prompt, professional service. We will take care of all the details during your event so that you don’t have to worry about a thing. Please talk to your event designer regarding a desired staffing level for your special event.

EQUIPMENT

Equipment includes items such as tables, chairs, bar and dinner glassware, china, service ware, coffee service, bar service, etc. There are several options to consider when it comes to choosing equipment for your special event – full seating/partial seating, buffet/plated, standard equipment/premium equipment, etc. At iCater.menu, your event designer will guide you in choosing what is best for your event and budget.

LINENS

The options are endless when it comes to linens for your event. From satin, organza and silk to taffeta and twill, we will help you select the best option to accommodate your tastes, desires and budget. Speak with your iCater.menu event designer to discuss your options for the seating tables, cocktail tables, buffets, bars, service tables, gift bag tables, and escort card tables.

BEVERAGES

iCater.menu  can accommodate all of your bar needs including specialty drinks, soft beverages, mixers, bar fruit and coffee service. Whether you are looking for a champagne brunch or a full premium bar, iCater.menu  will work with you to fit your theme and budget. Bar pricing is an estimate. The final cost of beverages is based on consumption and is determined post-event. Anything that is not consumed, iced or opened can be returned for a credit post-event. Please discuss your expectations in detail with your iCater.menu  event designer.

CORPORATE 

As a full-service caterer, we are pleased to work with you on menus suited to meet your needs. Please feel free to inquire about additional menu items that do not appear on this website.

ORDERING

We appreciate your order as far in advance as possible. We do our best to accommodate last-minute orders. Breakfast orders must be placed by noon for the next business day; lunch orders by 2pm for the next business day.

DELIVERY AND SET-UP

Windows Catering Company delivers to Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Orders including chafing dishes or equipment pickups are charged an additional $1000 per delivery. Please consult with your Account Executive for special set-up needs and additional pricing that may apply.

PAYMENT

All events must be paid in full prior to delivery.

WARM MENU ITEMS AND CHAFING DISHES

Hot menu selections require on-site warming. You may rent 8-quart chrome chafing dishes for $1200 each or  purchase 8-quart disposable chafing dishes for $750 each. Please keep in mind that some menu items require additional heating time.

EQUIPMENT

Your corporate drop-off order will be presented on disposable white platters. If specified, attractive white ceramic platters are available at an additional charge. Windows Catering Company can also provide chafing dishes, linens, fine china, glasses, silverware, tables, and chairs as requested.

BILLING

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Corporate accounts are available only by completing an account application and providing a credit card number.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation must be received by your account executive via e-mail or in written form no later than 10am one business day prior to your event. Orders cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the event will result in a 100% charge to the client, including events cancelled due to inclement weather.

SERVICE PERSONNEL

Our professional staff, including event supervisors, chefs, waiters and bartenders, is available upon request. We suggest the addition of staff for all hot food orders and receptions of 25 guests or more.

FULL-SERVICE EVENTS

Your Account Executive will help you build a custom menu for your event and will assist you with all of your event needs including staff, decor, linens, equipment, floral arrangements and more.
